I'm Chris. I'm a trumpet player, arranger, composer, and teacher currently based in San Diego. My favorite thing to do is connect with people from all walks of life - currently doing this through music and travel! My strength is playing the trumpet in the U.S. Navy and my weakness is swimming in deep water. We'll see how that all shakes out...
My Story
In his hometown of Benicia, CA, the sound of the trumpets could be heard at all hours of the day. Chris was raised in a musical household, where he cultivated a passion for making music with his 2 other trumpet-playing siblings. His education journey took him to the University of Michigan, Penn State University, and the University of Southern California, where he studied with Tom Hooten and Jennifer Marotta.
Chris’ eclectic career has prepared him to be equally at home busking with a jazz combo in San Francisco’s Union Square, performing onstage with the Detroit Symphony Orchestra, or entertaining thousands of guests daily at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, CA. Chris also possesses a passion for sharing music online with a global audience exceeding 500,000 viewers through his prolific YouTube channel. Outside of playing the trumpet, Chris enjoys connecting with others through social media and he has presented seminars on content creation at the University of the Pacific and California State University Northridge.
