Go Tell It On the Mountain is an African American Spiritual typically performed in a Gospel style. This arrangement begins with a trumpet solo and quickly morphs into an up-beat jazz groove. The melody for Go Tell It On the Mountain gives way to Edvard Greig's In the Hall of the Mountain King before one last time through the original melody.
