What I Do:
I am an active teaching and Performing artist in southern California. i primarily perform educational outreach concerts with my brass quintet, Two Button BRass, for schools in the LAUSD. I also teach at LAmusArt, an arts school established in 1945 that serves the community of East Los Angeles. There I teach low-cost private lessons as well as coach the orchestral wind sectionals weekly.
In addition to performing and teaching, I also write and arrange music. My Arrangements are for sale at Sheetmusicplus.com. I arrange mostly for my brass quintet but have recently branched out into smaller settings (see my new duet book!)
Here's a list of my favorite things:

Jazz Trumpet: Chet Baker

I'm a Bay Area native currently living in San Diego, CA. I grew up listening to Big Band Jazz from the Glenn Miller era and Baroque recorder music. More accurately, I would listen to my dad play Vivaldi and most likely end up falling asleep. I love musicals and watching live performances. I worked for a circus for two summers doing light and sound. I also worked at the happiest place on Earth, playing my trumpet. I spend the majority of my time performing and teaching with my brass quintet, Two Button Brass. I love that music has opened so many doors for me and I hope to be able to share my music with others.
